Colton Hay was born in Austin, Texas, and raised in Trinity, Texas. From a very young age he was involved in agriculture, participating in 4H and FFA.
Colton completed his undergraduate studies at Sam Houston State University, where he received his Bachelors in Criminal Justice. While attending undergrad and the year following, Colton interned at the Trinity County District Attorney’s office in Groveton, Texas, under legendary East Texas Prosecutor Bennie L. Schiro.
After graduation, Colton attended St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. Colton received his J.D. in May 2017, and became a licensed attorney in November of 2017, upon passing the Texas State Bar.
In his spare time, Colton enjoys spending time at his family ranch and working with his bird dog Levy. Colton started with Curney, Farmer, House, Osuna & Jackson, P.C. as a Law Clerk in May of 2015, and is currently an Associate Attorney with the firm.
